Accessibility Statement

InstaHimalayas is committed to making instahimalayas.store usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we continuously test and improve the site as it grows.

1. What we have built in

  • Keyboard navigation — every interactive element, from the tour controls to the newsletter form, is reachable and operable with the keyboard alone, with visible focus states.
  • Reduced motion — the cinematic scroll experience respects your device's reduce-motion setting; when it is on, the experience settles to a calm, static presentation without auto-scrubbing or velocity-driven playback.
  • Readable contrast — text and interface elements are styled with accessible contrast ratios against the dark mountain palette, including the glass panels over video.
  • Semantic structure — pages use proper heading hierarchies, landmarks, and descriptive link text so screen readers can navigate the content in order.
  • Descriptive media — images and icons carry meaningful alt text or aria-labels; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.

2. Conformance status

We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across the site. Because the site is pre-launch and evolving quickly, some sections may still be in progress. We treat every page update as an opportunity to improve accessibility, and we welcome reports of anything that is hard to use.

3. Reporting an issue

If you hit an accessibility barrier — a focus trap, missing labels, unreadable text, or anything else — please tell us and we will fix it as soon as possible:

4. Third-party content

Parts of the site rely on third-party services (Google Fonts, Instagram, and Vercel hosting). Where those services serve content or interfaces, their own accessibility applies.
